Stephanie Bloch is a classically trained percussionist. She comes from a Latino family who moved from Venezuela to Miami, Florida in search of better opportunities. Music runs in her family’s bloodline and it’s always been by her side. She started studying general music at the age of four and transitioned to piano when she turned six.

Stephanie’s a second-year at Oberlin Conservatory under the study of Ross Karre and graduated from Interlochen Center for Arts under Keith Aleo’s teaching. She has performed with many ensembles, including the New York Philharmonic, So Percussion’s Institute,  Greater Miami Youth Symphony, New World School of the Arts Symphony and Wind Ensemble, NYU’s Sandbox Percussion Seminar Ensemble, Juilliard's Summer Percussion Seminar, and Interlochen and Oberlin’s ensembles. She has also won 2 concerto competitions

Stephanie is also fond of studying electronic/acoustic composition and conducting/directing. She’s taken about a dozen college courses specializing in music theory and composition, and took composition classes through Interlochen Arts Camp/Academy. She has been chosen to become musical director for multiple musicals as a first and second year at Oberlin Conservatory. Her goal is to keep pursuing music performance and composition and inspire others by sharing her and other's art in the form of music and other interdisciplinary media.
